The oldest, and still Texas Lottery very popular, form of lottery in America is the raffle, or local drawing. Next to Bingo, raffles are the country’s biggest fund raisers for charity. Fraternal organizations, veterans’ groups and almost every other kind of organization in the country have benefited at some time from a raffle of some sort. Many raffles have automobiles valued at $2,000 to $15,000 as prizes, with the raffle tickets seffing from a low of 10 to a high of $100. Some drawings have $50,000 and $125,000 homes as their top awards. And, I have known of some raffle tickets on estates that have sold for as much as $1,000 each.

Trust Collects Top Prize For Texas Lottery® $3,000,000 Vegas Action Scratch-Off Game (AUSTIN, May 26)

Tri Cong Lau, trustee of The Lau Family Trust of San Antonio, claimed the top cash prize for the Texas Lottery® $3,000,000 Vegas Action scratch game. The $30 ticket offers players the chance to win up to $3,000,000, paid out in a one-time lump-sum payment.

“It’s always our pleasure to greet top-prize texas lottery winners at lottery headquarters,” said Acting Executive Director Anthony J. Sadberry. “I would like to congratulate our latest winner and remind players there are still two $3,000,000 prizes left unclaimed for this game.

”The prize-winning scratch-off ticket was purchased at South Park News, located at 2310 S.W. Military Drive #229 in San Antonio. The retail owner is eligible to receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the prize-winning ticket.

This is the first of three $3,000,000 top prizes in the $3,000,000 Vegas Action game to beclaimed. Other cash prizes for the $30 ticket range from $30 to $20,000. Overall odds of winning, including break-even prizes, are 1 in 2.11.The representative of The Lau Family Trust has requested minimal publicity.
